Refund & Cancellation Policy
Gareeb Aadmi Party accepts voluntary donations and contributions through the payment methods made available on its official website.
1. Donations are voluntary
Donations made to Gareeb Aadmi Party are voluntary contributions. They are not purchases of physical goods or ordinary commercial services.
Successful voluntary donations are generally non-refundable, except as described in this policy or where a refund is required or otherwise appropriate under applicable law or applicable payment-processing rules.
2. Cancellation
Before an online payment is successfully completed, the donor may cancel or abandon the payment through the payment interface. After a donation has been successfully processed and confirmed, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled by the donor.
3. Refund or reversal requests
A refund or reversal request may be considered where:
- the same donation was charged more than once due to a duplicate transaction;
- an amount was charged due to an apparent payment or transaction error;
- a refund is required or otherwise appropriate under applicable law or applicable payment-processing rules.
All requests are subject to verification. Gareeb Aadmi Party may request transaction or reference details, transaction date, amount and donor contact information reasonably required to identify the payment. Never share card numbers, CVV, PINs, UPI PINs, OTPs, passwords or other payment credentials by email.
4. Failed or unsuccessful transactions
If an online payment fails or is interrupted but the donor's bank account or payment instrument appears to have been debited, the donor should contact donation@gareebaadmiparty.in with the transaction or reference details available to them.
Gareeb Aadmi Party will verify the transaction status with the payment gateway and applicable reconciliation process. Any applicable reversal or refund will be processed in accordance with the payment gateway and banking process.
5. Duplicate transactions
If the same donation is successfully charged more than once for the same intended transaction, Gareeb Aadmi Party may review the duplicate transaction and process an appropriate reversal or refund subject to verification and applicable payment-processing procedures.
6. Refund processing
Where a refund is approved, Gareeb Aadmi Party will initiate it through the applicable payment gateway or banking mechanism to the original payment method, wherever technically and legally applicable. The time for the amount to appear in the donor's account depends on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer or payment network.
7. Bank-transfer donations
The INR 21,000 limit applies to online website transactions only. Donations above INR 21,000 may be made through the official NEFT/RTGS bank-transfer method provided on the donation page, subject to applicable requirements.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
Transaction disputes may be raised through the applicable payment, banking or card-network channels. Gareeb Aadmi Party will cooperate with the payment gateway, bank or other institutions as required to respond to legitimate disputes.
